I just confirmed this with an immigration advisor, he told me this way: Alberta gives you priority, if you have a Alberta Job Offer(for which you require no LMIA). Even if you're working in BC or an outlander, how will alberta know you have a Job offer? they just pick candidates based on your EE profile right?

So in order to show you have a Alberta Job offer, you need to say yes you have a job offer section in EE profile and there will be further questions. The only way for Alberta to know wheather you have a Alberta job offer is this section and that particular answer NO for position LMIA is to not add those 50 points to EE. This way alberta or any other province wants to filter out candidates by job offer in respective province can do.

If I am unable to submit my documents after receiving ITA due to financial issues, will there be any problems submitting later? I mean after the 60 days IRCC gives to submit documents.

I received nomination from Alberta but right now I can't afford the fee to submit pr application.

I really wish nomination could b transferred to someone else so I don't end up wasting something like this!!

under alberta PNP, does visa officer give more weightage to a candidate who has LMIA?

If Mr. A has job offer in Alberta and Mr. B has LMIA in ALberta with same NOC and rest everything same.

will B be preferred over A ?

I just got nominated a few days ago, Tech pathway so I will not mention my EE profile:
My info:
- Moved to AB from ON in April 2022
- Was working for a Montreal company until June 14, 2022
- Have a job offer with an AB company, NAICS: 5112
- NOC: 2174

Timeline:
- Submit tech pathway form: May 26, 2022
- NOI: May 27
- Submission: May 30
- Information Requested: June 2
- Montreal Employer replied: June 7
- AB Employer replied: June 14 (Missed the deadline on June 9 but AB officer has emailed me on June 14 and extended to June 17)
- Nomination: June 14

AB requested 6 paystubs from Montreal employer. Both employers were asked for confirming my position as well as job responsibilities.
