Yes that was kinda wierd! I have an active alberta tech pathway application submitted on dec 19 2023 status submitted and the. I received NOI about AINP in my IRCC profile……i emailed them and they said i need to cancel my previous one to be considered for this….and its confusing…
You decide which you want…you can’t have two active applications at the same time. That’s why they want you to withdraw the tech one.

Yes i know…bit confusing…. I think i got NOI for priority sector which might be faster than Alberta tech…But not sure what to do…

Everyone quiet.....let us know of updates......
Looks like the Feds are capping International students....thats bad...

I've submitted my file on 16 Nov for Alberta accelerated tech pathway after receiving NOI.
My employer is going to change on 29 Jan. Do I have to update my existing file or I need to resubmit it?
Why is it taking so long and what is the timeframe for this PNP?

As far as I know, you do not need to submit a new application. You have to create a new request through your portal to change details about your employer. Note that you cannot modify the existing submitted application. All the modifications should be done through Create New Request option.

Coming to the processing time, its because more and more people are applying and also there was a pause in processing towards the end of last year as the quota was filled.

Yes the alberta tech form is meant for expressing applicant interest and then they send you the application link ..
They sent an application link in the NOI so I assumed it was the Tech pathway, I clicked on it and submitted my application only to find out that it was the AB express entry stream. I've forwarded the NOI to the email (although) after the 2 weeks mark. Let's see how that goes, also explained to them I had submitted my application within the timeline, paid and received an App number. yet to hear from them.

Tech Pathway comes under AB EE stream. The email we received does not mention anything about Tech Pathway.

Looks like this. This is the NOI for the EOI that we submitted through Tech Pathway form.

Thank you for your interest in applying to an Alberta Express Entry Stream pathway. The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) has reviewed the information you submitted and is inviting you submit an application.

If you received the same and applied through the link, then no need to worry.

No one can tell you based on that limited information. Read the AINP requirements and see if employer is eligible and giving you a permanent job offer.
