AINP question.

Hello everyone,

I'm currently living in Alberta on a 1 year working holiday visa that is LMIA exempt. I have a job in NOC B (licensed optician) lined up for May 1st. I have over 24 months out of last 30 in international work experience in this field (USA) and am fully registered in Canada and legally allowed to practice opticianry.

My question is can I submit an application for the AINP as soon as I start the job in Alberta or must I be working in Alberta for 3 months.

It says nothing about having to have a job for a certain amount of time to apply, just that the job must be continuous full time and not temporary.

In the application form checklist it does mention you might have to supply pay stubs for "up to 3 months" to prove you have the job.

Any advice/opinions on this.

I'd like to apply asap as soon as I sign the employer contract instead of waiting for 3 months to apply
