AINP - now that only the management is available under the pressure list

My position is software developer, and my labor certification for h1b is programmer. But I am also a testing/quality manager, but it doesn't say anywhere on my h1b application. Can I still apply under the management application pressure list?

* Develop and implement policies and procedures for electronic data processing and computer systems operations and development

* Assemble and manage teams of information systems personnel to design, develop, implement, operate and administer computer and telecommunications software, networks and information systems
* Control the budget and expenditures of the department, company or project
* Recruit and supervise computer analysts, engineers, programmers, technicians and other personnel and oversee their professional development and training

as far as your position of a quality manager, I dont think this is included in the list of main duties; however, you could try & apply to AINP as this costs you nothing & you would know whether you are qualified or not
also pls note that FSW program also allows this NOC; doing FSW is more advantageous since you have more options for landing & also should be way faster than AINP

dude how come u are a manager..you are just a programmer.

I dont know why the people employed by those 'fake resume' gulti companies think they can hold any position in the world.

I was just asking because my company is small and a few tasks we need to allocate resources to help with, and I have always been testing for them and manage every aspects of testing purposes including training people.

if ur boss is ready to write letter which list resposibilties mentioned by abhi_hola...you r good to go..

If in worst case it's not qualified, what happens? Will I still be able to apply later on when the programmer becomes available, which is hardly?

Come on buddy you are a programmer and you are also a Project manager.See buddy AINP Doesn't believe you and there's a lot difference between programmer and manager.

In this current market, especially in US.. everyone of us are some sort of managers .. in terms of handling stuff that comes out of experience..

What AINP will look for is the description of your actual work duties ... it should be the roles what abhi_hola mentioned..

With this current scenario, we cannot say.. when they will allow programmers again (or in how many years) .. you can try for FSW .. the best option ..

Or a give a shot to AINP, and see how they react ?
