All:

I think it might be some time before MRs are issued and like Jaggu rightly pointed out, it depends on the VO handling your application.

USMA, your AOR should be issued around the 18th-Nov.It takes an average of 60days (+/- 5days) to get AOR from CIO

While we wait, it might be useful for us to start looking at opportunities for Jobs and registration with APEGGA. That way we can hit the ground running. Alberta is looking for qualified engineers so let's get prepared. Please visit the APEGGA website.

All the best.

@All : I really appreciate that you all guys are doing good job in updating this thread, as I mentioned earlier I am from PNP Ontario and recently got the nomination.

I just wanted to know the consolidated list of the documents that needs to be send.. I don't see that they required bank statement and education letters again is it good to send

Thanks to all friends specially usma, jaggu and ofonzo for support throughout. Finally today I have despatched my docs.

I think sending those documents which are not required will give no benefit.

Thanks usma,

Do we need to send the bank statement as proof of funds.

your suggestion is valuable. In past you told that you applied as foreign licensee to APEGGA, so definitely you know more than us. I think we can not become member until we go Alberta. So what other option is available for us?

@ rp-tp
Bank statement was not in document checklist, is it now included in Provincial nominees application to Nova Scotia?

Work Permits are now open to applicants on the FSW Backlog Pilot. Please see the link below:

Let's discuss.

Ofonzo, very good sharing from your side, I really appreciate.
I agree with you, we should see the advantages and disadvantages.
The advantage is that we can reach Alberta earlier than expected.....The question is …. have we to change our addresses and also at a later stage passport is demanded in native country for PR visa...i think i have read such comments of people who were compelled, for example to go New delhi from Canada, to submit their passports.......May be i am wrong but think of any such situation.........Ofonzo, how to now further proceed?

Thanks ofonzo, yes usma it's true that we have to come back for pr stamping which takes @ a month. Don't b in hurry. Just observe the market. Do your PE opreparations so after landing u can go for exams.

One can see the option if going in work visa, if processing time is more than 8 months. That is my mathematics so recruiter can give 1 month holiday else no company will give u leave unless u resign in just 6 months. Also Work vies processing is @ 3 months atleast ...
