I got an email to ask for the address of my relative in Canada, but they didn't actually confirm that they had got all my documents. I submitted my IELTS test report seperately as well.

How many days after ,they will send the document reach confirmation?
any one has any idea

Thanks

They promised that they would get us informed by the end of July. But I have got a file number from them, I'm not sure if it can be regarded as the confirmation. By the way, I got the file number before I sent IELTS test report to them.

@sunwei_bj, Did you mention in your application that your relative lives in Alberta or some other province. I don't recall filling in exact address. Only the province of residence.

Just a quick roll call of AINP FSW Backlog applicants on this forum:

1. Ofonzo
2. Saba NED
3. JAGGU
4. Gulshan
5. Usma
6. Sunwei_bj
7. Punjabi

We are quickly racking up quite a pack here. At sometime, I thought the program was going to be under subscribed.

Let's keep in touch.

I applied for Ontario. In the form, they only asked if I had relatives in Canada and what relationship between us.
They didn't even ask for which province they lived.
In June, they sent me an email to ask their detailed address, I don't know what they ask that for.

Yes, i did get first and last communication till date is file number from them. generally its takes @ 15-20 days for getting file number. after that it goes silent even after sending IELTS report. i had applied for ALBERTA and i hope all are in same province.

so good news for sunwei... sunwei when did you get your file number confirmation from them....i mean which date... may be we can guess from there....

nice to see roll call names.. so atleast we are connected. keep updating this forum about your status.

I sent my documents on March 31; I got the file number on May 29; I submitted IELTS on May 31; They asked me for the address on June 20;

@ ofonzo. I think there is little confusion. Actually sunwei_bj is Ontario applicant and not the Alberta applicant. Thats why his forms didnt require the province of Canada relatives as was in our forms. Their (Ontario) timeline will also be different and processing steps may also be diffrent from Alberta.

I think procedures may be same but timeline may differ depends on requirement. Are this AINP going to employer requirement for shortlisting our applications. did any body know what is the criteria for shortlisting..? has n e one idea about range of % they r going to accept this application...

The requirements for shortlisting has been stated, educational requirements are to ensure that one can practice in Alberta (hence the APPEGA requirement or its equivalent-Did anyone get the letter of no objection from APPEGA?). The age requirement ( the younger the better), the Alberta connection ( do you have close family ties in Alberta?), the work experience (do you have work experience that fits the NOC code for the engineering disciplines shortlisted). I recall that they did mention that they would not link nominees with employers.

Another thing I noticed is that some provinces are considering higher number of nominees. I think BC is looking at 250 while Ontario is looking at 600 nominees. Alberta did not state the number they would be nominating.

Thats good piece of information.

I had got NOC from APPEGA and same attached in my application. Not a big deal. they just see our educational qualification and experience related to NOC. i hope from that part i am clear.

Alberta nominees number would be much higher though it will be known only once they come out with nominations. Its being silent from their end so far. Did any body friends or collegue receive any call from thier program coordinator. No clue what they are verifying in our application. It must be like results on very last day... i.e 31st oct. i hope not.

To JAGGU: Can you share please that how many days they(APEGGA) took to send you the NOC.
