Hi Jaggu,

Send the originals if they have asked you for it. You are a FSW backlog applicant right? Did you send your original transcripts at that time to CIO when you applied for the Nomination? I just sent notarized copies. When did you get this request, and have you finished your medicals? Also about your passport, I would suggest sending it with a friend or relative who is going to Delhi, they can submit it on your behalf, thats what people I know of who are abroad and their VO being New Delhi have done, do not take the chance of couriering your passport. I know that Delhi asks for your passport along with MR request and they keep it for 1-2 months. And another thing, I would suggest sending everything as a package, that way it does not delay further processing. All the best.

Thanks
Kia99

thanks for your advise. i had submitted original transcript at that time. I will submit another copy of original transcript and copies of certificates. Passport submission will be latter as it may cross over 60 days of MR letter so i need to submit all docs except passport to keep the deadline date...

Your advise is welltaken... i will handover to New delhi friends....thanks..

Hi Jaggu,

- Educational transcripts have to be in original, for other certificates like degree n post graduate - send attested copies
- Employment records - The original - you send a copy (get it attested) and then for the recent one - you ask your employer to give you one on the company's letter head stating you name, employee number, date of joining, salary and how many years you've been with them and that you've been a good employee and get the company's seal on it if you can. Also if you've had multiple jobs, then you must have the relieving letters from your employers right, just send copies of that - see if you can attest those.

- Send the fees too - either by draft or credit card form.

- Wait for them to ask you for your passport again, the only hitch is that it might delay your application a bit, but again since you are not in India, its better to wait for the passport request again once they are done with the background checks n all, I've heard that the reason why Delhi asks for passports and everything together is because they want to cut costs. Also please do not send any original certificates except the transcripts to them, the check list clearly states copies only and it also says do not send originals as they wont be returned. Also if you need to attest them take it to the Indian Consulate VFS office and they will do it for you, they are the cheapest, think 15$, you can check their website or call them.

Hope this helps - send all of this by registered post/courier- so you have proof that you sent the docs. Also save scanned copies of the docs for your own records. And oh last but not the least, do you have the red stickers that says Ontario provincial nominee, stick that to the envelope, that way they know its the fsw backlog process and there is no delay.

Hi Ofonzo my great friend,

Thanks for this targets / inventory data/links you sent through.

I am trying to add meaning to this and see how to make use of those data.

Let's take Accra VO where your file is being processed. PNP has a target of 600 for 2012 and the total inventory is 551 - this should mean that PNP applicants there should not be delayed more than necessary. But, in the case of CHC London where my application will be processed, they have a target of 1980 for PNP and the inventory there is 2626 - this means PNP applicants in CHC London will most likely be delayed more than necessary.

Are these interpretations/assumptions from the data relevant in anyway? Guys what do you all think?

Best
