Hi guys,

My employer applied me for AINP employer driven stream (skilled) without providing the LMO for the position. Anyone with same experience, can this go through?

If you are on Working Holiday Visa, it's fine you don't have attach LMO. In this situation, you are LMO exempt.

I just talked to HR in my company. She contacted AINP and told them I don't have LMO because I'm on OWP and they said in generally I should have it but they might consider me without LMO, depends how other criteria are fulfilled.

If everything else is OK, I think they should consider you, not only might. Since the Alberta Immigration Web states:

If the Candidate is exempt from an LMO, you must show you are offering wages and benefits to the Candidate that meet industry standards. Visit the ALIS website for wage and benefit standards in Alberta by occupation.

But anyways. I know 2 people that applied with no LMO (they have OWP), and got their nomination with no further setbacks.

Cheers.
