did anyone recieve letter from ainp for exemption work permit extension? did anyone recieve certificate already even if expired work permit? please share your experience please... im very worried and stressed of thinking about this issue already

. I got my nomination January 02, 2015. I'm an AINP SRS AWE applicant submitted papers on November 27,2013, AOR January 15,2014. Applied for extension of work permit jan 2 (same day) as to January 04, 2015 is the expiration of my work permit. Currently on a implied status (103 days-processing time for work permit extension-same employer). Applied for PNP-CIO in Nova Scotia last March 1, 2015, now waiting for AOR and result of application for Work Permit Extension. God bless to all just on praying!

You should have applied online. I applied for my work permit January 7th. It's already approved. But still waiting for them to mail it

nope not yet.. prior on that i did apply visitor permit and got approve thats why i need to apply outside canada at New york.. thats ok.. atlst im excepted now to 4 year cap and can come back to work after my work permit get issue...

I got my work permit locked to my current employer. But some people get an open work permit but locked to a specific noc. For example if you are a cook you will have an open permit but only as a cook. And you will get you permit for 2 years

How about for the location? my employer is planning to move me in other location... same company,same employer,same alberta. my work permit is expired already and im applying for new work permit. can i state a new location for the application now?

I applied for my work permit before this new rule came in. What I would suggest you is in the application ask for an open work permit. I did that and got a closed one. But get an employer declaration and Offer of employment compliance to be safe.

Actually for a open work permit it will be locked to the province itself. As long as the new location is included in the job offer letter it should be fine.
