Age factor for express entry

Hello actually I wanted to know if I was born on 22 of December.1980, does that mean my age is calculated today to be 36 years old according to immigration Canada ? Or does it get calculated as 37 years old since we are in 2017 ? appreciate your help

now it is 36 years , on coming Dec. 22nd which is 3 weeks from now you will be 37

If you submit your express entry before 22nd your age score will be calculated equivalent to 36 years. On 22nd the system will automatically recalculate your score and you'll see a drop of 5 points. If you get an ITA before your birthday and your score falls below threshold after bday, cic can make an exception in some cases
