Hi ,

I am opening this thread to have a discussion on applying to various universities and acceptance from University to enroll a 35+ aged student. Also, how successful are these students in getting their Visa. Usually these students will have more than 10 years of work experience.

I read at many places that the chances are very low, still I would like the hopes high. Please share your experience.

In my opinion, at this age, if your end goal is to immigrate to Canada, don't use studying as a pretext for migration, but rather, apply through express entry.

Try to get a PNP nomination or a job offer to support your PR file. Or maybe get highest marks in IELTS, like 8 7 7 7.
If you have none of the above, your best hope is go on STUDY

Noticed that this post was made around 10 months ago but nevertheless..Chances maybe low for most but it isn't impossible. Im also in my mid 30's and I'm already here for almost a year now. I personally know of someone in her 40's as well and about to graduate early next yr.

I actually wanted to show that people can get their study visas even after 30yrs of age. So I went ahead and searched for pre-existing threads and brought them back into the light.
