Is anyone aware of whether or not you are able to just travel to Canada (not permanently land) if you have already been approved and sent your passport for whatever it is they put in it? (We have sort of a complicated situation with having a new baby and potentially not being ready to move right away)

If you aren't ready to use your COPR to land, then you need a valid TRV or eTA to enter Canada.

Edit: Unless you are American in which case you can enter on your passport alone.

Thanks! My husband is American, so he typically wouldn't need anything to travel to Canada, but I just wondered about after he had received his PR if there were any travel restrictions (I remember when I received my US Visa, I couldn't come until I was ready to come permanently)
