After submission, How soon should you receive notification

I posted my application to MISSISSAUGA

Are you supposed to notified they have received it?

do they send a letter through the mail or an email please?

how long after submission does it generally take to get a response?

Hi

No, they will not notify you that they received the package. Hopefully you sent it by courier so that you have that notification.

If you provided an email, they will email you AOR.

At least a few weeks.

Correct - it won't be in the system yet.

Even once it's in the system - there's very little if any information the Call Centre will be able to give you about the status of your application.

BLEU: Means a decision has been made at this point
GREEN: Means application received

You don't. This colour system isn't used by CIC.

i mailed the application sept 2 and it arrived there on the 6th.

we got notification via email on oct 1.
