After sending passport, how long does CIC take to stamp the PR visa?

I sent the passports on Oct 24th 2014 to the Ottawa office for CEC PR visa stamping. Still have not received it back

Is there a way to contact CIC other than e-mail

I'm very scared upon this. We will be submitting our passport copies to ndvo soon and expect passport request to come soon. However I may be away to Sweden on a business travel during that time. Further, I will have my CFA exam in June for which I would definitely need my passport. Could someone advise if NDVO could be communicated about these issues and they will be okay to follow some timeline to stamp my visa?

Hey guys

I applied online for a temporary residency visa from within Ottawa. Hopefully i will be asked to mail in my passport for them to put the stamp on it. My question is, after you get your acceptance, and once they ask you to mail in your passport, how much time will it take them to send it back? Is there any way i can expedite it?
p.s im asking about the time it will take for CIC to put the stamp on my passport after they made their decision and not the time for them to make the decision.
If i get my acceptance on July 25th will i make my august 4th flight??

Anyone got a PR stamp on a PP sent from USA? Can you please share the time line? How long did it take to get the stamp? With or without courier times

They received mine on 24 july. Im still waiting.

They don't stamp it, They attached the visa to your passport.

I sent my MR on July 8th and the payment of the fee on June 25th. And I am thinking about send my passport next week without being requested. Do you think it is a good idea? do you think they will take longer processing if they see documents that haven't been required? I hope not.

I would like to see an email of cic requesting the passport and I guess everybody in this subject has received it, if you think it is not too personal and you don't mind to post it here I would appreciate it a lot. If you won't I will understand.

They got my application in May 23th of 2014 and now I need the confirmation of PR for next September 27th.

It usually takes a few months for passport request after MR, Mine took 1.5 year after MR. Hold on you got a long way ahead of you

I wouldn't advise since they ask for a copy of your PPR with ur passport
Also immigration size picture and you have to fill a form with very basic info.

Once DM is made, PR approved and passport requested, how much time do we have to really send it? Because I might have to travel for about a month in the next few months and I don't know what would happen if they asked for my passport while I'm away.
