I have two questions about my situation back to Canada as an international student.
My previous passport expiry date was around 2020.
and my study permit expiry was October 2017.
Now, I have got reissued passport(new one) expired 2026.
I am re-entering Canada in this September with both old and new passport, and study permit paper on the old passport.
(also eTA because my study permit was from 2013 August).
Do you think I am safely able to re-enter Canada?
my second question is..
I actually got one year leave from school since April, last year(2015)(one academic year), outside Canada.
now I am back to school after the break.
Because my study permit hasn't been expired yet, i will bring it to re-enter Canada.
Is there any problem for this?
my school(uni) cannot guarantee my re-entry because there is no specific policy about school leave and validity of study permit.
However, school advisor also added that it should be ok if i bring all supporting documents like proof of fund and so on.
i have all documents with me, evidence for what i did during my leave.
I am just worried that if CIC can cancel(???) my study permit as i stopped studying at school last year....
help!!!
