Hello =))

I am going to send my passport for PPR. I know it take about 10-14 days to get it back with CORP.
I plan to drive to the border (BC- Vancouver area) to get landing faster... Here are questions:

1) any experience with border officers in this part of Canada?
2) What happens at the border? Can I leave country after landing? When will I get PR Card?

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
hi my application got approved and closed today and I am now waiting for COPR in the mail.

I'll be flagpoling at Douglas/Peace Arch as soon as it comes.

Ive done it before to renew work permits and it wasn't much of a problem with the border people. just answer the questions.

PR cards processing time is currently: New permanent residents - 41 calendar days.

It has speeded up immensely in the last few month, you can leave the country as you don't need the PR card for land crossing, however if you are flying back into Canada you ought to have the PR card otherwise the airline can refuse to carry you.
