Hi, there, my spouse had his spousal interview in VO Dakar on january 21st, 2026.
It went well: he had all the answers. Officers (3 of them) were listening, and not confrontational. And even commented that they agreed with the decision of my spouse to not tell his mother about some aspect of my life ("you are right about that" she said).
It lasted 20 min. They took a small break, came back, had one more question. Which he answered correctly. And said they would email the answer.
They remained opaque and absent as to if they approved eligibility or not.
We have seen no updates on tracker since then.

I m pretty sure it went well.
I want to know if others on here had this experience where no answer was given on the spot, but later was approved/denied. and how long it took to finally hear back/get FD/ppr.

Note: security was not started at time of interview, but should be straightforward as PA never left home country and never was part of political/miliatry/police.

Thank you.

Timelines for the outcome of an interview are extremely variable but within a month is a fairly common response time. Very common not the be given a decision during the interview. That doesn’t mean anything in terms of the outcome. You just had the interview so it is understandable why you haven’t been told the outcome of the interview. All you can do at this point is wait.
