+1 for your kind words ,
Thanks so I will wait for my medical , I have one more question , In my case the officer said we haven't started your background & security check yet , she said It will take usually between 3-6 Months , do you have any experience regarding this issue?

what about your case , your background check was done on interview date?

Hi Kiana,

Hope you get the good news soon.

Btw, what questions were you asked? Were they concerned about your over qualification or were they worried that you will not work in your choice of NOC? I am curious to know....

Dear Friend;

Thanks ,
about my Interview , It was most about my job experience , for example:

- what was your daily dity?
- How many person were working under your supervision?
- What you did on emergency shut down?
- how long I have been as supervisor?
- check all my work contracts & education?
- I had some appreciation letter from the president as "Top Rank worker" in the country , it helped me too much that even I am high educated
but I am too much interested to work as a Supervisor.

- No question about canada & the job I am going to do there
- No question about the date that I am going to land

- check all my PCC & proof of funds
- check my spouse work contracts & pay slips also
- ask about my child that can speak english or no.

fortunately every thing well done & she was too satisfied , Also she said the way that you filed your documents show that
you are too much care about the details on your job also.

but I have to wait till background check & security check is done by them , I don't know how long later I will recieve my medical but I hope very soon

Brace urself.

As after my interview there was no update on ecas for 6 months. However, I received the request for medicals within 3 days post the interview. So dont let ecas worry you.

Good Luck

Ra Boy,

Have you received your PPR . As I myself got the medicals in 3 days after the interview. Does this mean that our background and security checks are already done. After the medicals are done what do u think how long will we have to wait for PPR.?

In new stream....usually they send Medical after Background Check....

As per Qorax.....now a days....when you get 3rd line on ECAS "MR Received".....It means 99% your case is approved.....and at this stage....Security Check also Completed........

Could you plz share related link of Qorax's post?

Thanks.

As per Qorax reply

1. NO. After the meds all processing gets standardized, there's then no concept of the wait-queue based on MIs. Each case proceeds on it's own merit, based on it's security clearance.

2. "MR" at e-CAS usually reflects that ur security checks r complete/satisfactory... and the pps with PRVs r under despatch. The meds 'evaluation' is done typically imdt on receipt at the RMO (off course based on their workload, read quantities to be handled) and anomalies, if any, is typically (again) intimated to us by max 4-6 weeks. If one doesn't hear anything by then -- it's safe to assume that his/her meds stand cleared. It's another matter that after the meds get 'seconded' our IOs run the security checks on us... it's success gets a nod to PHEP section, for PPR (not in the case of CHC-ND) and that "MR" status appears on our e-CAS.

You have to check in Thread of Qorax Background Checks -EXPLAINED >>> New « 1 2 ... 336 337 », there any posts........you can check it out
