Ok thanks that's great but what's the time frame to hear back something from them whether in writing or via email, what should I look for next??

On average, in 45 days you should get RPRF request, would suggest you to pay in advance if you are inside Canada.

my status changed to In Process on May 31st, and I got RPRF on Jun 13th.

I am a bit worried about the police record also. my out-of-country PCC was from May 2012, and I moved to Canada on work permit in Sep. 2012. Not sure if CIC will ask me to provide a new one that will cover the months between May-Sep, 2012, and not sure about the Canadian PCC.

Usually they ask for PC when request for RPRF. Seems like you are good to go !!

This is very comforting to me.. I am really tired of the waiting, unable to plan anything for the longer term. :( Hopefully I will move to "decision made" status soon.

once paid, fill in your information in receipt.. send one copy to CPP ottawa and one copy to cic recovery email address ( something like that, once you pay the fees, it will provide you with the email address)..

Can anyone say after the RPRF is paid will you hear something? This system is funny because they didn't request the fee via email, but sent an email to remind me that the fee is outstanding...which was already paid and sent in, just WAnts to know what's next

The RPRF email is a reminder, rather a request. Some people paid it when they sent in the application, some people like myself paid it after medical. So if you haven't paid it then go ahead and do it.

As for what's after RPRF, just wait for it. I had the request on May 24th and I got my PPR July 4th.
