One of my friends is immigrating through the Quebec Immigration Program. He is asking me - and I did not know what to answer - whether he must stay in Quebec. I know that he must land in Quebec (because that is what he said in his application) but I was wondering if he needs to reside for a certain period in Quebec, and for how long, and whether he needs to get a Quebec driving license, etc.

After arriving in Quebec, businesspersons are required to purchase and operate a business in Quebec for at least one year. Once this requirement has been met, they can move anywhere in Canada either to work or start or purchase another business.
