After Graduation & Study Permit & Reentry

Hello all,

I am an international student, and I just finished my study at Langara College in December 2014, I heard that my study permit will become invalid in 90 days since I finished my program. And I want to go back to China soon and come back to Canada in June 2015 to pick up my "BBA Parchment", you know, the parchments are just awarded in summer at some colleges. However, at that time, my study permit has become invalid, so how can I enter Canada by that time?

Apply for a post graduate work permit if you are eligible i.e if you studied full time... When ur post graduate work permit is out you would also need to apply for a visa which would enable you enter Canada if your previous one also expires.. It would be very risky to leave Canada without the work permit or study permit and a visa because you won't be allowed to re enter Canada without them..

The problem is that my study permit expires at July 31th.
