Hate to tell you this but it is not at all accurate. It just one year from the day they recieved your application. I sent mine in Jan 2012 and the date in CAIPA is Jan 2013.

Hi
I recived my caips note since one month, the content is not useful. For the medical date, this date is traditinal and it is not useful cos my application recived in May 2011 and my medical is May 2012, and up to know i have not recived the medical.
I am sorry this date is nul

Thank you all
i thought so. this date is nothing . the problem is not from the caips it is from amman office . they have no rules and they are not organised i wish they transfer our files to romania. amman is dead office

hi kita
i am here always reading all posts 100 times daily but as you see no progress no news from the dead office . last news sending new file numbers for old dec 2010 applicants . many applicants of other offices have interview after me and you and now they are in canada . i pray for god to tranfer our files from this f****ing office the worst office in the middle east .

Hi
today one applicant from amman office received his medical. he is in federal stage since 8/2010 this means that they reached q3 2010 . soon they will start q4 2010. i do not want to be so optimistic specially with F**** office like amman . but only small numbers of 2011/2012 applicants is only our hope ( 2011 only 82 persons 54 applicants)( 2012 88 persons 38 applicants)
due to latest tables as of 9/4/2013 they took final decision for 56 applicants all remaining 159 applicants . if and only if they keep moving on that base by dec or jan they will reach 2012 q3 applicants
Regards

Thx mft for the valuable info, let us pray for the best. I am a 2012/q1 applicant , do u think I will get medical in 2013?

Hi mft25. Thanks for the valuable info.

Where can we check this? I mean that table which says that they processed 56 persons.

The reason I ask is that according to www.data.gc.ca, and the excel file called "permanent resident application processed abroad and processing times", from April 2012 till March 2013, Amman office processed only 7 cases (total 16 person) which is disappointing.

I hope everyone gets their visas very soon. I've been waiting for mine since jan 2012.

Hi acoustica
Did u submit ur file in Damascus or in Amman?
We are almost the same timeline (jan 2012), please let us keep track of each other.
BR

I applied to Damascus in January 2012 and learned then that all files are in Amman because of Damascus office closure. I asked for my CAIPS notes and it said that my application is now in Amman with medical, security...etc. still not started.

The new processing times covering up to June 2013 must clarify many things. It should be released next week.
