I GOT MY CSQ 4/7/2012 I SENT MY FEDERAL FILE TO NOVA SCOTIA . THE FILE RECEIVED ON 17/7/2012 AS ARAMEX TRACKING RECOREDS. NOW I AM WAITING FOR FEDERAL FILE NUMBER. I HOPE NEXT SUMMER I WILL BE IN MONTREAL. PLEASE SHARE WITH US YOUR TIME LINE SINCE I CAN NOT FIND ON INTERNET MANY CSQ APPLICANTS FROM AMMAN . THE INFORMATION IS VERY LITTLE. I HOPE BY THIS TOPIC WE CAN HAVE IDEA HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE FROM AMMAN.

I have sent my CSQ for PR to Amman and it was received there in mid-February and I've only received an email of the file number since then. No mail and / or call or anything. I still don't have any information about my file. I was hoping to be in Montreal around summer 2013, but it seems that will not be the case.

Do not worry soon you will receive the medical and after that they will ask you for your passport to stamp visa . I know someone get it from Amman within 7 months. can you please send your time line when you sent your file when you got CSQ when you got UCI or federal file number

I have applied around February 2010 for CSQ and got my interview and CSQ on November 2010. I got delayed because of marriage and me and my wife got our new CSQs around July 2011. I have sent my docs to Damascus in February 2012 because of unforeseen delays and am still waiting.

I was wondering whether your friend who got the medical within 7 month originally sent his / her documents to Damascus or Amman. You know, file transferring will almost always cause extra delays.

he sent the file to Amman office directly as they requested in the csq. Also in my case it is written under VO (visa office ) AMMAN I think this is the reason why your file delayed . you have a lot of changes and delay in your federal file submission. what is your file status when you check online. Did they informed you that your file has been transferred to Amman office and your future contact will be with Amman office?

It only says "Your application for permanent residence was received on January 27th 2012". I still didn't receive any mail from the embassy. They didn't inform me anything unfortunately. Dunno what to do

what about the email or letter which informed you your uci number . in this email you will find what is your visa office and with which office your future contact will be.

I have only received an email from the Centralized Intake Office informing me that my "application is complete and was sent to the visa office for complete processing" without informing the name of the office. I have only learned from the Syrian Embassy website that my file was transferred to Amman. It could still be in Damascus. It is frustrating. My mailing address is wrong in the system and I'm sending emails to Amman so that they will change it and they still didn't.

now when you pass the CSQ they will give you 2 copies of certificate one you send along with the federal application the other should be with you. in this paper there is one field VO (visa office) what is it in your case because in July 2011 Damascus office was closed. so check it and tell me please

It is in fact Damascus. I sent all my documents to Damascus before the visa office was closed there (30th of January 2012) as far as I can tell. I think the Quebec office was closed in mid 2011 whereas the Federal office was still working in January 2012 (this is was CIC says too).

i think we need to wait 4 month at least before we hear any thing from Amman office
