Syrianhope, both me and you have the same status, application received on April 2011, but i'm still waiting to hear any update.
I wonder why did you write to Bucharest vo first, not Amman vo? and what did you ask for, i mean did you request an update?
I wrote to bucharest vo and just asked them if my application transferred from Amman to Bucharest

dear Syrianhope
so now it is confirmed that all 2011 and after has been transferred to Bucharest . again I believe this planned before the end of 2013 and the file transferred in the begin of 2014. due to this assumption the files will complete in Bucharest for 4 month by the end of April. starting from may I believe we will hear something so every one now can relax and I suggest if we can use this time by share the info like cheap tickets, where to stay, rent flat before or after landing, buy electric devices or ship it etc,,,any useful info
regards

I advise everyone to start in Québec province since it is the province that accept us in the first place and give us new home . now for the first 6 months you can study French and take salary and get to know the places and get use to the new life. in the same time you can look for a full time or part time job while work on your certificate equivalency in case your need that. Québec one of the best provinces in Canada plus it is the cheapest one . it is very close to Ottawa , Toronto and new York . the best daycare you can have is there. my cousin is in Toronto and he is complaining of high apartment rental plus cars prices . Toronto is target for all immigrants so the labor market is very hard while we have French language advantage with daily practice we gonna be fluent . so it is advantage for us to stay in Québec and try to find job there and I am sure that we will succeed

Sorry mft, do you mean you get a salary while you are studying french? Are you sure about this? Do you know how much is it? What about the financial autonomy form that we signed? For me, i am only afraid of the language problem. I like Quebec and if i find an English speaking area there, that is where i want to live. Can anyone help and give me ideas?

I think after the loss of PQ, there will be less pressure on learning French. Anglophones will feel more comfortable and the nightmare of separation will be forgotten for a while.

no damascuwas my visa office when i applied to quebec for the first time then in ferdral stage my visa office amman

So your application is Federal SW or QSW and if you mean QSW then what the office on your CSQ which is mentioned there was it amman or damascus?

the story is that i applied using a lawyer office here in amman and i am worried who should contact the VO Amman me or the office about my appl. but on the other way i look at it that i should wait another 2 months at least then i will reach the embassy by mail or whatever

what do you want to inform the visa office

ok i know i want to know if all of these apps are transferred to bucharest what abut my app which was received this year is it still in amman and what about the processing time it should be much less coz i know new applicants are that big number it should be processed faster at that office i applied from i know 5 applicants FSW that got the visa after a 7 long years and i am 1 from 66 apps sent from that lawyer who received CSQ so i am hoping i will get meds request by the end of June but when i saw your forum and all the talk about processing times raised from 43 to 47 months i was shocked but now when they did transfer all old applicants to romania i think new files should be processed much faster
