guys,i am agreed with Nic
listen to me plz all,we have 2 choices for this situation:
1-the first is going together to the embassy for meeting the ambassador and explain him our case and asked him to find the solution for our cases.
2-the second as Nic said,is finding parliament memebers ,communicate with them by email ,expalin them our cases and what's happening in Amman office,or bring media to this office.
these r my suggestions,otherwise we have to wait miracle from this office or will wait 2-3 years to get the visa

That is really amazing guys. I think we can get something from this parliament member and I hope she will answer our emails. Do you think it is better to send her several emails or just one email from all of us? If you want us to draft one email we can put it on this forum and then add our suggestions to finalize it in a way that suits everyone of us. Or maybe if she receives several emails, that would give a stronger impact on our issue. I think in the emails we should mainly stress on the point of the few files in Amman office and the bad productivity compared to the other offices. I think mft knows very well how to do the calculations and the numbers of the files processed in the past two years and the numbers of the files still pending and the number of the visas available since the beginning of 2013. We need to mention the bad conditions in Syria and Iraq and how this should be taken into consideration to expedite processing the cases of Amman office in particular. Do you have other suggestions?

Greetings from Amman – Jordan,

We would like to express our disappointment and frustration with the performance of Amman Immigration Office. We received our CSQ in April 2010, and received our Federal Number in October, 2010 and we are still waiting for our Visa. We submitted the security certificates twice, once in 2010, and another time in December 2013 and we are concerned that we will have to resubmit the same paperwork for the third time !

The Canadian Government promised to reduce standard processing times and to eliminate backlogs yet the processing times increased from 43m to 47m for Amman Office over the past quarter and has been increasing over the past three years compared with Cairo office ( less than a year) although the volume of Applications in Amman Office is very small compared with Cairo Office. It is unfair that a Jordanian has to wait a lot more than an Egyptian just because he is Jordanian.

There are a lot of humanitarian cases in this office including Syrian Refugees that are facing very challenging situations and that have been waiting for longtime after Damascus Office was Shut down and it seems the Canadian Government is not prioritizing Quebec immigrants since there’s not even a target set for Amman office for Quebec for Year 2014 as shown in the table below (highlighted in Yellow):

no need to talk a bout Syrian refugees
must talk a bout the delay in the permenant resident visa
for Syrian they have a bad situation they need to speed up their files
put children and they r suffering
no need to put small detailed about they reached November 2010 or else
each one put file no and full name
we need to speed up the prossesing files it is not fair that cairo vo give visa after 12 month and applicant 2010. still not until now

anything we can do is better than nothing . I sent emails for the third time complaining Amman office slow processing and I will keep complaining until I get my visa. I will send email to her now let us hope this office will close soon
