After Citizenship process - Surrender passport, certificate and OCI Card

Good day there,

Need some help in clarification of the after process.

After getting citizenship and Canadian passport, the next process is to surrender Indian passport and get certificate and with latest law passed one can apply for OCI card on the same day with all the required documents at BLS office, is this correct?

Thank you for the information. I had a look and just want to confirm as this new rule will save lots of time for the new Canadians getting their IOC and surrender certificate.

Please share if any forum users went through this new rule.
