After biometrics: eligibility not started and biometrics still in progress

Hi everyone,

I completed my biometrics on Jan 12, 2026 and my medical exam shows as completed. Background verification is in progress, but my biometrics status still shows “in progress” and eligibility shows “not started.” No additional documents are required at the moment.

I also see a message on GCKey saying “Your action is required”, even though I’ve already completed biometrics.

is this normal ? has anyone faced this in the past?

no its not, there is probably a mistake in your personal details (name, age, etc) when u did your biometrics. Call IRCC
