visa filed: 30 april 2011
medical call : 1 june 2011
medical done : 7 june 2011
letter from ND for further medical : 2 july 2011
admission deferred to jan intake
further medical reports sent to ND : 15 sep 2011
visa stamped : 10 oct 2011
pp received : 12 oct 2011

just remember:

My case was delayed because I was asked for further medicals which took around 3 months. As far as my admission is concerned, I am going for MBA at York university (Schulich School of Business)....
Don't worry InshaAllah you will get it in time....

I think my strong points were my academic background and the university to which I am going. But I also made sure that my other aspects of the application like finance, family ties were also strong...

I've applied on 11th October and I'm going to Univeristy in the Januray 2012 intake as well. Dont lose hope and have Faith. Insha Allah we'll get the visa in time.

I applied through Gerry's and asked them this question. They said normally visa processing used to take 35-45 working days, but then as the September intake applications increased, the processing time they observed was around 3-4 months and as the September intake has concluded, and not many applications are normally there for the Januray intake, hopefully the processing time will reduce. Moreover, the lady at the document submission counter said that it normally takes around 2.5 - 3 months.

So we will still have a little margin available with us.

Insha Allah we'll get the visas in time.
