My spouse went to the VSF office in Karachi yesterday. First initially they denied that any family member can pick up the passport when decision is made. as it was an Uncle. Said either father or husband. They went and got a manager or senior advisor and allowed it. Last stages almost done.

they create rule from their stomach, specially when they see its Afghan. i had gone through the same kind of thing, i called them from here "Canada" and said i am going to complain to the High commission of Canada about this, i said i need your name - in 10 seconds everything changed and he was a nice person all the way.

It takes anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks

Hopefully it won't take long for PPR.
Any time frame on how long it might take after DM?

vfs will give you a tracking# that you can track to see where your passport is, tracking# is on the slip, mine took 2 weeks to get it back
