I think I'll have a heart attack if it takes longer than 17 months.....I see the Indian nationals who applied in 2015 getting PPR so not fair

not sure what opinion would you need! very simple in 3 days your medical will expire so they ask you do it.

Is this a usual re medical? After which there is DM or ppr.
This is a bit strange as compare to previous re medicals.

Just do your remeds and hopefully you get PPR soon. Consider yourself lucky you are 2015 applicant and you got further than most 2014 applicants.

OK your message wasn't clear, so your saying that your file is now DM with NDVO and they requested to send them your passport and as well as re-medical?

alone security check takes 10 months how is that possible!. but over all if you got the ppr and DM- considering you are 2015 applicant your the lucky one. just do the re-medical and your ok

i srsly dont get this, some applicants are processed within a year, and some YEARS, People want, and deserve, transparency and fairness in the processing of applications. But in many cases, that’s not what is being delivered.

Congratulations to those who have been asked to provide their second medical!!! Honestly, I don't understand what holds them up so much. My husband's medical expired in October and we still have not heard from them. Is it because they have not passed eligibility yet? is it true that they will ask for the re-medical three months after the first one expires? If so, how come other members have been asked to do the re-medical??
Ughhhh this is so frustrating and there is nothing that we can do but to wait!! :(

I dont think nationality matters to CIC
Some get their visa quick some wait longer
I am also an August 2014 applicant
First nepal had earthquake they got priortized
My friend she had an interview at ndvo she saw lot of afghan applicants lined up for interview with interpretors interviews took hours for them this delays my wait should i say so ???

There is no point in blaming any nationality rather all blame CIC and their ways of working
Like googlehead there is no transpency to way they work no one can question them :/

Waiting for an interview letter for ages now they are royally sleeping on our files

Hahaha I know how tough is to wait without any reason but seek for everything with khair!
Actually before my re med I was thinking that for sure NDVO consider nationality but now I don't think it would b so. There are several factors affecting this duration to b long or short for ex: the story of case it should b realistic and culture of the area we live in taken into consideration, matching of the forms u fill with the story of case, background information and the proves u provide, travel history, provision of documents to prove marriage is genuine. If doc are not provided accordingly and in background found something is wrong then they will check everything very carefully which takes time, these are the points as I think.
Coming to ur case why u r not doing MP not applying for notes?
May Allah help all of us!
