My husband is still waiting to get his re medical request from NDVO and his expired in October of 2015. You mentioned that those who filed their application in December and January have already received their request for re medical. I'm just a little worried now as we are still waiting for the request.

it is better to check ur email even spam folder everyday and mp enquiry helps alot too.

my medical is expired on september, its been three months that i haven't receive any letter from NVDO

On a side note....

I got a call from a 613 number today stating they were from CIC in Ottawa, it was a guy with a heavy Indian accent saying that there was a complaint against me and they are questioning my identity. At first I thought my application got rejected but then he transferred me to a "officer" by the name of max again a man with a heavy accent. I got a hunch that this is most likely fraud so I told max to send me a letter then he said he's gonna send the cops to my house, so I told him to do so and he hung up on me.

So if y'all get a call like this it is FRAUD do not give them any information, just tell them to send the cops and you will deal with them.

Wow that is sooo sketchy. How did they even find your information and how do they know that you have a CIC application in process? All that info is supposed to be confidential. That's just ridiculous!

They were actually looking for my brother, I guess they got his name since the phone line is in his name.
They just said they got a complaint about his identity, and the cops are coming. Max the Indian really doesn't know how to act I knew it was fraud when he told me his name

WTH I would file a complaint against the number...but these days it's so hard to block someone from calling.

I looked up the number online and it seems like they are calling a lot of people. RCMP is aware, but CIC should send out something warning people.

Im sponsoring my wife. And my residential address has been changing. Does anyone know if changing address has impact on my sponsorship application. Although I have a permanent mailing address for CIC.

Please share in anyone has been through.

I looked up the number online and it seems like they are calling a lot of people. RCMP is aware, but CIC should send out something warning people.

depends if its telemarketing you may report it to CRTC they have National Do Not Call List. if its personal you may do it through your service provider

According to my MP it is 17 months from when NDVO recieves your file. Nonsense right? Tell me about it

unfortunately its correct 17 months once they receive your file, consider your self lucky and call it a day if its done in 17 months, there are apps waiting from 2013

unfortunately its correct 17 months once they receive your file, consider your self lucky and call it a day if its done in 17 months, there are apps waiting from 2013

I think I'll have a heart attack if it takes longer than 17 months.....I see the Indian nationals who applied in 2015 getting PPR so not fair

not sure what opinion would you need! very simple in 3 days your medical will expire so they ask you do it.
