Dear Nick_Afghan,

The girl who wants to sponser her husband from kabul doesn't have Tazkira nor her father/brother and Nikah khat can't be made without tazkira. totally in difficulty not know what to do. do you have any idea to solve this problem.

Thanks

I didn't have my dad's tazkira either but it was already in the system. You can ask them to search it up using her father's name and address etc. Or you can try using a paternal uncle's tazkira. Or if the girl is in Canada right now she can go to the Afghan consulate in Toronto (on Richmond Street) and ask for a letter that says she has dual citizenship. She will need both of her parents passports/tazkiras. They will not charge her anything. The letter has an official stamp on it from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan so its legit and the people in welayat Kabul will believe it. The letter basically says that you are an Afghan so they should be able to make a new tazkira for her based on that.

Does anyone have an idea of whether the expiry date of visa has anything to do with how long one receives their pp back?

for example,

someone whos medical is expiring soon , they will likely get their pp and visa back more quickly than one who has a lot more time until their medical expires... do you think this is the case?

Hi All, my husband has interview in October, I'm so nervous and don't know if this is a good sign or not? At least I know that they are processing it, but I read here that some of you didn't have to go to interview? Does this mean now that all background checks have been completed?
Also how long does it take after the interview for him to get the visa?
Thank you.

one of the members in this thread had an interview in new delhi, and they ask both applicant and spouse (if spouse is present there) questions straight out of the application . they confirm whether your answers match each others' and the answers you gave in the application.
also if your medical expires and they ask for a remed, itll take few months till they ask for passport
if they approve they may also ask for applicant's passport straight up front. and issue the visa with 2 weeks.
anything can happen.
show as much proof as possible
take everything you can possibly take to prove your case.

salaam dear sister will u please share ur timeline please

Salam everyone ! I have a lil news to share ! My MP did an inquiry on my behalf and this what it is (
CIC advised today that the office is recommending to the officer to waive the interview because they believe there is no reason to question the relationship. If the interview is waived this is significantly positive and will save some time on processing.

I hope you find this news well. If you have any questions, please contact the office.

Kind regards,)

My ECase hasn't changed yet but it means at least it's in process ! I'm very thankful to Allah and I'm very happy ! I'm hoping my brother Nike-afg get ppr in next 2 weeks bakhair , inshallah ! Happy Monday

Salaam, application was sent Jan 2013. I did contact MP two months ago and they found out that background checks had begun. If they ask for interview does it mean that the background cheeks are done?

This is a good question but i dont really know the answer for it, u made me curious now bcuz my meds expires in July 2015 that means i will not get a visa till then? :(
I hope its not like that, i heard it takes 30-45 days to get a pp back with visa but i dont know if thats true... if someone has any idea please share !

i doubt it too, it should be sooner since the status is decision made.. no background checks/...everything is finalized
