WELCOME TO EVERYONE FOR COMMENTING ON THIS LINK, I SUBMITTED MY DOCUMENTS IN THE END OF APRIL FOR AEO APPROVAL, ITS BEEN 19 WEEKS SINCE THEN BUT WITH NO RESULT. THE LAWYER SAYS THAT ITS UNDER REVIEW. IS THERE ANYBODY OUT THERE WITH BETTER LUCK WHO FILED IN THE MONTH OF MARCH/APRIL/MAY.
THX

Hi Siddharth,

I too have applied for AEO in the month of March but no reply from service canada. Where are you based right now.

rgrds

Hi,

our AEO application was send in in May.
We are in our 18th week now, no reply from HRSDC/SC yet...
But, there's another topic called "Arranged Emplyment Opnion 2010", you can take a look there and join in!
There's someone named rKo who has got more information at this point!
Good luck!

Regards,
Louise!

Hi,

My lawfirm had submitted my AEO application in December 2009, still no reply from HRSDC... does it take this much time?

Rgds,
Raj

Hi rajm,

maybe you can ask your lawfirm to phone HRSDC/SC and let them ask if there is any news about your application!
There is a member in topic "Arranged Emplyment Opinion 2010" who applied in feb and got an reaction....

Regards,
Louise!

Hello Louise,

I checked with my lawyer and they said that service canada is short staffed and have a huge backlog... I don't know what to do.

Rgds,
Raj

Hi rajm,

in the other AEO topic I was reading your AEO has been approved, congratulations!

regards,
Louise!

Hi Louise,

Not yet approved though Service Canada interviewed my employer last week and asked him to revise the compensation and re-submit the revised offer letter.

Rgds,
Rajm

hi raj,
there are some specific criteria that the service canada revises of the employer, e.g. fulltime job, justified pay scale, financial returns, etc. If the employer has submitted proper documentation then there won't be any query hence faster approval. Check the guidelines/checklist for aeo documenation.
regards

hi Rchettiar,
Its taking a lot of time for aeo approval, do kkep me posted if you have some good news @ your end. Also take notice that we do not need to submit pcc on submission of our documents as per the new checklist. We'll have to submit pcc only when asked by the cic. Its a pain to wait for over 20 weeks which actually used to take 8-10 weeks.
regards

To Everyone on this thread,

My Employer applied for the AEO on December mid 2009. It got it issued on May 2010 (after initial deny which came on April end 2010).

PS: Service Canada denied my AEO application initially. After that my emplpoyer asked the case worker for the reason to deny & defended well. Finally, the case worker got convinced & tokk around 1 month time to finally issue it on May end.

Hope you all find this information useful.
