Any Advise would be greatly recieved - Myself and my children would like to join my father in Manitoba from the UK he has been in Canada for 11 years and he is a permanent resident, i have no required skill although i have a resume filled with a wealth of experience nothing required i dont think , i have been trying to find a route without success - i find Canada a wonderful place myself and my children would benefit from such a lovely country i plan on working without relying on government funding as i do here in the uk thank you in advance Rebecca

Does your father have a spouse or common law partner or any children in Canada? Are there any other family members who live in Canada (e.g. aunts, uncles, etc.)? Are either of your father's parents still alive?

Hi , Both my Grandparents have passed , he lives with a partner they are not Married been together for 9 years mortgage etc and he has no other children or family members in Canada

In that case he unfortunately cannot sponsor you.

If you wish to immigrate to Canada, you will have to qualify on your own through one of the economic immigration streams like Express Entry, or the Provincial Nomination Program. You can find detailed information about these programs here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/index.asp
