Hi,

I am on my PGWP till 2014 and i just got married in Jan 2012 back in my country. I wanted her to come and stay with me in Canada.

What is best option to get her here?

Can i sponsor her or she needs to come on tourist visa.

Thanks and waiting for advice.

not sure what PGWP is?

it depends where your wife is from...depending on the country, some people are allowed in as a visitor without a visa for 90 days, but other countries are strict, ie- if she is from brazil she will need a visa just to visit.

you need to check the CIC website cic.gc.ca

I really don't know the details of it because you are here as a student, my situation is different.

this is the info i could find about getting a visitor's visa if she is coming from india:

canadainternational.gc.ca/india-inde/visas/visit-visiter.aspx?view=d

look on the CIC website and see what you can find and if not, try calling them
