I have my Canadian PR stamped in passport for myself and family. We currently live in US and plans to enter Canada via road. Our plan is to enter Canada and complete the formalities and return back to US same day. Our plan is not to migrate to Canada immediately, we plan to to do in 12 months after selling house, finding a job in Canada etc.. meanwhile if US Green Card comes, will stay back in US.
What are the documents we should carry when we make entry into Canada first time? Should I drive my own car or use a rental car(a friend of mine suggested to use a rental car), what are the things that we need to do once we enter the canada before we come back? We plan to give address of our friend in all applications and he will send us the PR card etc.. over to us in US. Appreciate a quick feedback from anyone used this and we don't have much time?
