Advice for TRV?

Hello! I'm asking for my friend who is visiting me soon:

TRV Application Sent: June 6th
Biometrics Request: June 21st

The next appointment available at the Biometrics Centre in my city is June 27th

I have booked my flight for July 8th

Should I re book my flight now for a week after (July 12 or 15) or wait until my passport comes back?

You shouldn't book flights at all until the TRV is approved.
