Additional Verification cic --- Need Help

Hello,

I have received this email from CIC-Ottawa. "Your file is currently under review and requires additional verification. As a result, the assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times"

I am extremely worried and I don't know what does it mean? I have applied under Canadian Experience Class and I received AOR on July 7th 2018. I contacted CIC on on 12 Oct regarding an application status and they sent me this message which I mentioned above.

anyone has an idea what does it mean and what is going on in my application... please help...

Nope. Indian. Have a clean background, was in US for my education for 4years. Not sure what's happening, confused and disheartened

Glad to be together on this- in a good way. Well! this probably is standard process, so don’t be disheartened, have faith. Hopefully, we all will be in Canada soon.

I have faced the same additional verification response.. does anyone who has previously posted in the year have information on when you got your PPR after receiving such correspondence?

Hi still waiting to hear from CiC.
My Aor is June 2019

I got the same email from CPC CTD ottowa. My AOR is Nov 2019, and it seems like I have to prepare myself mentally for a long wait.
It's certainly disheartening as my records are clean with multiple visas including the US's, and I got my masters from U of T, so I don't understand why the security screening.

@ Saudagar .... did you get your PPR yet? if yes, when was it? thanks man

Hi, I am wondering did you finally receive you goldern email? Recently, I also received info from CPC Ottawa that my application requires additional verfication. and I am extremely anxious about it. Thanks

Usually its send to you when you request an update on your application, like through a webform. I got it that way, but it didnt show up in my notes anywhere
