Hi everyone,
I got a letter regarding additional medical tests. I was told to take tests with the specialist (gastroenterologist) and asked to provide history regarding my crohn's disease. Below is the request regarding my additional test request.

"
Gastroenterology report.
A current assessment by a Gastroenterologists is required. Please forward a report addressing history, diagnosis, management needs and expected prognosis. Please include relevant diagnostic test/imaging results.
This exam has not been referred to any clinic.
"

I'm currently seeing a Gastroenterologist. I can get the report from them (My doctor's patient cordinator, she messaged me that she can provide me with all the required documents, but it seems she need to know what she needs to submit).
I have the following issues:
1) there's no request for specific tests that are being asked.
2) my doctor's appointment is booked until May, I don't want to see an another doctor and have the imaging tests done.

Did anyone had this issue? How do my doctor know which documents they need for assessment? Can someone please reply if they had similar issue?

Thanks,

Hi PRheello. Is your Crohn's currently active, are you taking medication, and have you had surgery? I'm asking as I too have Crohn's and am expecting a request for further information from immigration at some stage. I haven't taken anything for it for years though, so I wasn't expecting for additional tests to be requested.
