I applied on the 14th of Jan 2022, and I just received an ADR asking for an updated bank statement of my father for the last three months.
My question is this a good sign? or is it a regular process?

(a) You may have provided an old bank statement with your application (or)
(b) You didn't provide any proof of finances, which would explain how you did/are going to pay tuition fees and living expenses

How old is old please..like what should be the timeframe

Mine was 2 months old when applied, and 4 months old till the request. So, I believe at maximum it should be one month old.

Lets say you want to apply for a visa on april,your statement should be last dated to march?

Just upload new bank statement.

You need to provide a 6 month bank statement which is current. Last month is preferable. Dont upload a year old bank statement, it doesn't make sense.
