Additional Dependants/Declaration Form (IMM 0008DEP)

In the CIC website it says

"Additional Dependants/Declaration Form (IMM 0008DEP)
Who must fill out this application form?

This form must be completed by:

You, the principal applicant, on behalf of each of your dependants not included in the Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008)."

My question is on what conditions does one not include their dependants in IMM 0008 form ? i am applying for CEC with my spouse as my dependant. i have included my spouse details in IMM 0008 form. Does that require me to fill in the IMM0008DEP form too ?

Please help.

The Additional Dependants form is required ONLY IF you have more that 5 dependants. Any less and you don't need to fill this form.
