Do I just inform the CPP-O regarding addition to my family or I need to re-fill IMM5406E for me and my wife with my child's details and send them copies of it?

Amend all the forms, include copies of birth certificate and passport, send to Ottawa (Only if you have a file no.) and include fee. If the child was born in Canada, a copy of the birth certificate is fine.

Right. You only have to amend the IMM 5406.
