Hello Akilot, you need to call IRCC and the agent will leave a note to Visa officer to add your wife. In my case I have called them several times and then they added my wife although I have sent her documents months ago.
Him @khan8862,
How can I contact IRCC from outside Canada??

Try this +1 613 944 4000 and choose IRCC option
Hi @khan8862,

Tried calling on that no., when I tried to connect to the pr query team the recorded message said that we don't transfer calls to that department and please coordinate through the CSE form.
But nobody replies to those forms is the major issue.

Congrats! Your update just gave me hope. :) I am also an Outland applicant, although not as an EE-FSW, but as a PNP nominee. AOR was on last week of August 2019.

It's been over two months since I requested for the addition of my spouse. But I'm still hoping that my application will be as quick as yours. I am really hoping that we will be able to receive the PPR before my upfront medical expires.

Again congratulations!

PNP - Outland
NBPNP
Current VO - Sydney

PR AOR - August 27, 2019
MEP - September 17, 2019
Biometrics - September 18, 2019
Marriage - October 18, 2019
Request to add spouse through CSE - November 5, 2019
Submitted requested documents through CSE - November 15, 2019
Submitted additional document through CSE (Marriage certificate) - December 5, 2019

Sometime this January, I was able to call IRCC, and they told me that I have already passed the eligibility and criminality stage.

I was also informed by the IRCC agent that tmy CSEs last Nov 15 were rejected for the reason that no documents were attached on the enquiries (which is weird since I have received acknowledgment emails from them last Nov. 22).

According to the agent, when I sent the Marriage certificate last December 5, that's the only time they were able to also see the other documents I sent last November.

Until now, my husband is not yet added as a dependent on my CIC account.

Hello All,

I am an Indian Citizen on H1B in USA and will submit my ITA doc by Mid march.

Tricky part is my fiancé is also an Indian Citizen and on H1B and we are getting married in May end.

I will inform IRCC about this update to get my spouse added to the application. I will be primary.
My questions are-

1) Do I have to get my PCC (from India) and FBI verification again once I add my wife?

2) Will she has to get her PCC (from India) and FBI again once return to US again?

3) how much time do they give for submitting the docs for spouse?

4) Does she needs to give her ECA as well once I add her?

I need help urgently. Super anxious!!!!

1) No
2) Yes
3) Usually 30 days after you raise a webform and receive response from them.
4) If you are not claiming any points for her education then NO

For the 4th point, As per a lot of posts the score doesn’t gets re-calculated. So, if scores don’t get recalculated, why would the ECA be required.

As of now the application just has my name and with status being Single.

If you apply as Single and Post AOR if you add your spouse then ECA is not required.

Hello Guys, I got landing interview call and then email on last Friday. My local IRCC office is Halifax. The good thing is there was no fixed time for interview. Halifax IRCC is also open on Saturday from 8:00-2:30pm. I went there on Saturday and the whole process took 5 mins Max. I got my CoPR signed by the officer. She said you will receive PR card within 10 days but in worst case scenario it might take up to 2 months.

Thank you guys for your help.

Hi guys, I'm also a silent reader. Just decide to create an account and share my case.

So my wife lives in Calgary, Canada while I live in Australia under a student visa. My wife added me after she passed for the medical on July 2018.
- We got married in January 2019
- Update the papers in Feb 2019
- We upload documents in April 2019
- Got requested for medical in late June 2019, get the medical done July 2019
- Pass medical on 15 August 2019
- Got requested to fill in IMM008, IMM0056, etc, pay right of resident fees for me as well
- Got requested to send proof of relationship on 22 Oct 2019
- Got requested to pay application fee 13 Nov 2019
- PPR on 22 Jan 2020.

My wife is gonna have a landing interview on 18 Feb 2020 in Canada. I was requested to send my passport and other documents to IRR via VAC via VFS in Sydney, Australia.

- I sent all documents to VFS and they arrived at the IRR office today 05 Feb 2020. Now we are both waiting for CoPR papers. The estimated time would be from 10 to 15 working days (hopefully) or it can be 2-3 months in the worst scenario.

It took us almost a year since we updated the martial status to get the PPR so if you are waiting don't be scared. Hope this helps.

PS: In the cic account it says 20% of our case is complex so it took longer than other cases. I think it could be because I've lived in 3 different countries and they have to verified (the IP2 stage took really long).
