can someone please guide me. I am married and my wife is here but our parents do not know about our marriage. my question is when we doing pcc from canada through bls can i put single when apply for pcc because i do not want to know about our marriage to our parents. our marriage is registered in india i have my marriage certificate. please someone guide me in this situation.
as far as i know pcc does not had any link with your marital status because it is just to check your criminal background.
Also i have to do pcc as individual for me and my wife.

did someone did is pcc like in this way can someone let me know did it create any trouble. please i am in so stress please guide me

Pcc has nothing to do with marital status but Indian gov is stupid ! They have mandated this to be answered in the pcc god knows why

so i will strongly suggest don’t put single sometimes IRCC does check with the Indian consulate to check the documents it’s done on random basis so if thy end up checking it won’t match and it may create serious issues with your pr application- it will fall in misrepresentation and ban of 5 years

I had the same issue and did a lot of research and in the end ended up with mentioning married on the PCC form

when the police goes to check they will ask about marital status so you can have some friend / cousin to take care of it if you don’t want your parents to know
But don’t lie on the form and invite potential issues with your pr process
