Hi,
I'm having a complicated situation here:
- I applied EE in June 2017 and got approved 4 months later with CoPR.
- Originally, I planned to go back to my home country in Jan 2018 and come back landing 1 month after.
- However, I got married in Feb 2018 and came back in the same month.
- The officer at airport led me in with my work permit and visa(I don't know if it is an issue for the case, cause normally I can't enter Canada under this kind of circumstance). I immediately informed IRCC after I got home.
- After receiving the ADR message from IRCC, I uploaded all the requested supporting materials and forms, my wife also finihshed her medical test and the result was updated on the website on April 2018.
- Since then, there is no update whatsoever. I called and emailed IRCC multiple times and they confirmed with me that they do not need additional documents and I already paid all the fees and nothing seems wrong with my case.
- I got my first GCMS notes on Oct 2018 and it shows that my wife's background check was not started yet. I ordered my second notes on Nov 2018 and I'm still waiting for it.
- Generally speaking, all the responses I got from IRCC so far, they were just saying my case needs additional verification. The states online shows "We are reviewing the additional documents you provided" and looks like it's been in IP2 since April 2018 with "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."
Right now I have totally lost and have no idea what is going on with my case. I need some advice...

According to the phone calls I made, they also mentioned that my case was approved and closed before, now it is reopened so it will take longer time, and the verification involves lots of departments in and outside Canada.
