Guys got the PPR mail today.

Below is my timeline:

Submitted docs : 21st july
Got married in August
Informed CIC about marriage on 4-5 September
1st PPR : 8 September
Request for additional documents for spouse on 13 September within 7 days
Submitted spouse’s documents on 19th September
PPR 11th November

Hi All,

Thanks for sharing your insights and individual timelines. I’m in a similar situation. I got married soon after PPR and just a little before I receieved my COPR.

Here is my timeline:

PRR (As Single Applicant): Jan 31, 2019
Got Married: Feb 22, 2019
COPR recieved: March 6, 2019
Informed CIC of change in marital status: March 7, 2019
Recieved request for spouse documents, forms, police certificates and medical: March 29, 2019
Uploaded all forms & doc (with Marriage Cert, PCC, Medical Exam, Fees etc.): April 7, 2019
Spouse added as a dependent and alloted a UCI in my profile: April 10, 2019

PPR: April 11, 2019 (today); this time as a message in My CIC account requesting for passports for myself and any accompanying dependents

I’m obviously both surprised and stoked! Is it possible that my spouse’s background, security and medical checks have been completed in 4 days?!

Look forward to insights from anyone else on this forum.

Thanks for sharing this information! I'm in a similar boat. I got a request to submit passports (PPR2) a little too soon, 4 days, after submitting all the documents for my spouse! I'm both surprised and stoked!

Does this mean they have completed my spouse's security, background and medical checks?

Guys,
I got my PPR mail 3 days back. Though I sent a mail regarding my marriage to CIC 2 weeks back they gave my PPR. I am planning to add my wife as secondary applicant now. What all the documents I should provide apart from marriage certificate. I already applied for name change in passport. Should also apply for her WES and IELTS ? Do they recalculate our CRS score ? Please help me
Hi, Reply to same email from which u got ppr mail, attach marriage certificate and write a letter explaining ur situation, write UCI no. & application no. , then they will send you another mail for all the documents they needed. Along this update through webform also. List of documents they require will be written in the mail. Do as soon as possible.

hi guys,

looking at some of the recent timelines, I see the wait for cases of adding spouse after AOR have come down. But in my case, (Feb 16 2019 AOR) I will be adding my spouse (Wedding in June) before I receive my PPR. By that time I should be about 4 months into my application and I wonder if I will have to wait for another 6 months or more.

Hi.. I am in similar situation. I raised CSE to add spouse on 13th March. Even after 35 days still waiting for them to ask for additional documents for my husband.

Let me know if you get any update.

AOR : 23rd January

Hello,I suggest you mail your VO directly! CSE is usually slow. I was replied by OVO in less than 2 days after asking to add my spouse. Added her successfully since 22nd February, currently waiting for her to Pass Medicals and be sent for Biometrics

Thanks for the reply.

I called cic twice. They told me my visa office is Sydney, NS. VO has received my request to add spouse and haven't asked for docs yet.

Can you tell me which is your visa office? Did you send them the docs without getting ADR ?

I got ppr mail from CIO NS, I updated about marriage on 26 January via webform. They asked for spouse’s Documents on 30 January & I submitted all the documents on 26 February. But after that nothing.

At least you got ADR. I am not sure why they are taking so long?

They sent me mail very soon after updating via webform, just in 4 days.
I suggest you that you once again raise CSE and mark as urgent, this may help you. This is my suggestion only as I read in various articles, rest u can take help from some expertises.
