Posting my timeline in this thread as I added spouse recently and wanted to keep track of general processing time for adding spouse

AOR : 27 October 2017
Medicals Passed : 9th November 2017
PPR Date :29th November 2017
Got Passport back on : Jan 3, 2018
Got Married : 14 Jan,2018
Informed IRCC via CSE and Email on : 1 Feb 2018
Request for additional documents for Spouse : 27 Feb 2018
Submitted documents on : 21 Mar 2018
UCI added for Spouse on : 21 Mar 2018

Current status is as below :

Application status We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Review of eligibility We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents We are reviewing the additional documents you provided.
Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Medical status didn't change at all.It remains the same before ADR,but other status were changed for me

That’s fine if the status of Medical didn’t change, mine too. As per my GCMS, my husband’s medical passed on the same day I added him.

Medical exam wasn’t asked in the list of documents but I still sent it.

Please, iamxty, according to the GCMS notes, how long did it take them to clear your husband's criminality/security? Thanks!

From the last GCMS generated on 01-Feb, our security (PA and spouse) was not started yet. Only his medical passed from the last notes. I added my spouse on 20-Dec and received PPR on 08-Mar. That’s 11 weeks. But like I said, even my security has not started yet (or maybe it was in-progress at that time).

Did u send medical with another documents??

Yes ,I did sent medical certificate with the rest of the documents.I did upfront medical for my spouse.
In the document checklist provided to me, it was informed that if medical certificate is available you can upload it

I wanted to give an update on my application.I got my second PPR request today!!!

I am confused though..Will they process documents these fast?It took only 4 working days!!
Also, all the status messages looks the same,but the summary page was showing that my application is updated.

Is this how it will happen for the second time? Last time, all my status was updated and I got an email from my account as well

I got mail from CPC-Ottawa,but I thought my processing was done at New Delhi.I am a bit confused here.Will they change visa office?

Wow..Congrats !..That was ridiculously fast..Just wanted to know, Did you or your spouse have any significant travel history?..And i don't think you should worry about which visa office as long as you got the golden mail

We don't have any extensive travel history.I traveled to UK for an year on official purpose,but my spouse hasn't traveled at all.
