Hello,

I have received Medical and RPRF request from CEC, Now I want to add my kid to existing application

so could you please suggest what is the process?
Also does we get the medical request for my kid(Just one month old)

1) Was your child born in Canada?
Then: No medical exam or fees necessary. You will have to e-mail Ottawa your kid's Birth Certificate.
CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca

2) Born Outside Canada?
Then: Copy of - Birth Certificate, passport, IMM008 form (dependents), photos, and application fee of $150.

Send these documents to:
Case Processing Pilot - Ottawa
Citizenship and Immigration Canada
219 Laurier Avenue West
7th Floor Section B
Ottawa ON K1A 1L1
Canada

That's about it. I don't think I forgot something. Congrats on the baby :)

Most of the tests are age 5 or up. So i am guessing they may not ask for Medical for a new born.

Even if they want Medical report for your child, it will come after you have submitted all the documents. Also email Ottawa on the given address, I believe they will send you instructions about this whole matter.

You guessed wrong, See: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/publications/dmp-handbook/#app4 and MM 5738: Chart of Early Childhood Development (CECD)

Aww! making a month old going through medical...sadness!

Seniors,

I am in the below situation. Need your guidance.

I am an Oct Applicant. I am blessed iwith a Kid 25 days back. Kid born in Home country. My wife and me got the Meds today. What I understand from this post is even Infants need medicals. I an in the process of getting a Passport now which may take 3-4 weeks.

Now I need guidance for my next steps.

1 Continue with my Meds for me and wife and then Inform CIC once I have my Kids Passport.

2. Wait for my Kids Passport, send the same to CIC and wait for Kids Meds and then go for medicals ( All 3 of US).

My Time Line

Applied 11 OCT
MEDS 18th Apr

I was in the same situation last month, but as per the CIC email I submitted all the required documents with copies of kid's passport. The main thing is you need to inform CIC about this change in family composition as soon as possible. I submitted all the documents of my kid on Apr 03, 2014 with a cover letter that we are planning to do our medicals together. After that I received the medical request for my kid in 6 days time and we completed medicals examination of kid two days back.

Kids medical examination was fairly straight forward with just a physical body check up (no xray, no blood or urine test).

thanks

Hi Hiddenhero,

can you please let me know the list of docs you have sent to CIC. Did u sent in an email or the hard copies?

Pls let me the address

Thx

Hi hiddenhero,

How many days after you submitted your kids document did they reply back. I had sent my kids documents a month back, still no reply received.

Thanks,
Pravin

I'm filling out IMM008DEP for our three month old baby, should I leave the fields that are not relevant (relationship status, education, occupation, language) blank?

Hi Guys

What is the processing fee for the adding baby, do I have to pay Right of permanent resience fee or another fee ??

We did the meds and now want to add the baby in my application but dont know what fee should I pay ??

Thanx

Hello, Is it mandatory to send email to CIC about the new born Canadian child ? When I received PPR, I did send a copy of his birth certificate, my passport and my wife's passport together to CPC-Ottawa. I also attached a cover letter to them explaining where my son was born and when. The very next day my passport package reached Ottawa, ECAS got updated to Decision Made so I am worried if they would have noted down my son's details or not. Thanks

I had a baby boy born on Nov1st. How do I inform CIC about the birth. What forms do i fill out and how do i submit it - is it all submitted online?
