Adding new born after e-apr

I would like to add my new born child to my PR application. My AOR is 27 July and currently I am in IP1 stage. I need help on the process of adding the child. As of now I have the birth certificate and I am expecting the passport for the new born in the coming week. Thanks

Also should I do the new born addition now or wait till I get the PPR and then inform the CIC?
