ADDING MY CHILD TO MY APPLICATION HAS TAKEN MORE THAN ONE YEAR

I submitted my EE application in September 2023 and i was sent my PPR in June 2024 but during this time i had a child and i called IRCC and told them that i was expecting a child and they advised that we send the documents via webform instead of sending the passports that were requested for, I did this thinking that the baby would be added and till now no communication from IRCC,i have called severally, sent series of webforms, contacted MP and done everything possible but till date there has been no change kin my situation and i have been stuck with no direction as i thought thus would take less than a month. I keep calling and still same response that they have a lot of files yet to be treeated.Has anyone gone through this or is there something i didnt do right?

J'ai soumis ma demande Entrée express en septembre 2023 et j'ai reçu ma confirmation de résidence permanente (CRP) en juin 2024. Entre-temps, j'ai eu un enfant et j'ai appelé IRCC pour les informer de ma grossesse. Ils m'ont conseillé d'envoyer les documents via le formulaire en ligne au lieu des passeports demandés. J'ai suivi leurs instructions, pensant que le bébé serait ajouté à ma demande. Or, je n'ai toujours pas de nouvelles d'IRCC. J'ai appelé à plusieurs reprises, rempli de nombreux formulaires en ligne, contacté mon député et fait tout mon possible, mais ma situation n'a pas évolué. Je suis bloquée et sans nouvelles, car je pensais que cela prendrait moins d'un mois. Je continue d'appeler et on me répond toujours la même chose : ils ont beaucoup de dossiers en attente de traitement. Quelqu'un a-t-il déjà vécu une situation similaire ? Ai-je commis une erreur ?

J'ai d'abord envoyé les documents par courriel, puis j'ai rempli un formulaire en ligne avec le certificat de naissance, le passeport, la preuve de l'examen médical, la preuve de paiement et le formulaire IMM.

Et cela fait plus de trois mois que je n'ai reçu aucune réponse. Quand j'appelle, on me dit que mon dossier est en cours de traitement.

Please call IRCC then, seems like it's the only way out.
